The number he bred got to the point of ridiculous and they insisted that they were removed from his care due to overcrowding and lack of veterinary care. They were originally rehomed back in January but their new owner couldn't keep them, so they came back to me. Temperament: They are fantastically friendly and inquisitive girls. There were 33 rats, 4 rabbits, 3 gerbils and 2 guinea pigs who were looking to be placed as the owner was an elderly man who could not cope with that amount of animals. The ammonia build up was horrendous because he could not clean the animals out properly and instead swept the muck out onto his floor where it built up over a period of time. Environmental health went in and told him he had to get rid of his animals by the 8th March or they would all be put to sleep.
